Built in 1915, the historic Venice City Opera House was a long time pillar of our community. During its’ later years it experienced a lack of interest and fell into disrepair before being purchased and protected from demolition in the late 90’s by a local developer, Mr. Striker. Since then, it has set protected but undeveloped until late last year when purchased by local restoration artists, Brian and Rhonda Jones.
Currently, the Venice City Opera House is under restoration and remains closed to the general public. Re-opening is slated for Fall 2017. If you have any questions regarding the restoration process or would like to help/donate to this cause, please see our Contact page.
